Saturday, June 4
Kalamazoo Pride would like to invite you to walk with us in the annual Do-Dah Parade in Downtown Kalamazoo on Saturday, June 4. We hope that the zany, hilarious, and silly format of this parade will allow participants to use their creativity on silly costumes, funny dances and crazy characters to represent diversity and Kalamazoo Pride. This is our last event before the big Pride weekend!
If you plan to participate, please email Maggie Adams at [email protected].
There is no cost to be a part of our entry, but we do ask that you prepare your own costume – and don’t forget to make it colorful!!! (Costumes are not mandatory, just a spirit of pride!)
Think Pride and Do Dah on!
Each year, participants are challenged to reinvigorate the meaning of “Do-Dah” (a parody based on a spoof or a satire of a person, place, event or thing). Being creative can be a challenge, but when we succeed, we will be remembered. The goal is for this year’s parade to be the funniest yet!
